Though made for DVD, this shot-in-Romania werewolf epic has quite a decent budget and some grandly gory special effects of eviscerated corpses, and heads being spectacularly blown off, Savini-style.
The setting is a 19th Century European village where the full moon seems to come every bloody night of the week. Guy Wilson is a young lad studying with grumpy local doctor Stephen Rea, whose back room is permanently packed with the gruesome victims of werewolf attacks.
