Perhaps to cash in somewhat on StudioCanal’s recent releases of certain iconic Hammer films in jaw-dropping high definition, Anchor Bay have put together The Peter Cushing Collection, celebrating the grave dignity and brooding circumspection that the actor brought to even the most glancing of roles. The four films here are, in the main, only graced with his presence, adding a spike of calibre to a couple of pot-boiled turkeys.
