Trailerwatch: Cannibal (U.K. DVD & Download 23rd June)


Spanish horror has been ahead of the pack for the last few years, taking over from the French New Wave of Horror and a brief resurgence of Asian and American titles as the premier source for serious chills. The [REC] series, The Orphanage, and the stunning Sleep Tight are some of the key titles worth seeking out.

Now we hear of a new release coming to the U.K. through Studiocanal, and we’re paying attention. Why? Because it’s always interesting when award-winners like director Manuel Martin Cuenca and lead actor Antonio de la Torre choose to have a go at our favourite genre, here adapting a novel from late Cuban author Humberto Arenal.  Check out the details and trailer below.
