SORORITY HOUSE MASSACRE

Beth (Angela O’Neill) is in hospital and is visited by Mrs Lawrence (Mary Anne) who asks her what happened…
A flashback. Beth arrives at a sorority house. There are shots of someone writhing around in bed and empty rooms. A little girl looking up the stairs. A scream. Orderlies rushing. We then get a flashback within a flashback – I think.
Beth is greeted at the door of the same house. She was the young girl? She is welcomed in. ‘After a weekend with us you are going to want to join a sorority’. Maybe, maybe not…
She goes to bed and dreams of three young girls playing outside the same building. They tell her to be careful going in. So that’s a dream within a flashback. Possibly. Inside at the dining table are odd human size dolls with their eyes closed. A large knife. Blood dripping from the ceiling. She goes upstairs. Odd things going on. Confused?
Beth is a new pledge at the sorority and that weekend most of the girls have left – leaving her with Linda (Wendy Martel), Sara (Pamela Ross) and Tracy (Nicole Rio) to have fun in the house and with the guys that turn up later.
Meanwhile a psych patient has escaped – guess where he is heading?
It never ceases to amaze me which films are given the 4K treatment – no disrespect, but this is a mediocre and highly derivative slasher, featuring lots of attractive young ladies, plenty of casual nudity, not much tension and few thrills. This was written and directed by Carol Frank who had worked on THE SLUMBER PARTY MASSACRE (1982) which is very similar to the film in hand.
